Parents Will Love Webkinz World

Friday, June 13th, 2008

There are very few ways for players to interact with each other. One of those is via chat rooms called “Clubhouses”. Parents can choose between two Clubhouses for their children.

  • The first is geared towards younger members.
Players can interact with each other through a menu of phrases and actions.
  • The second Clubhouse allows players to type their own phrases, but filters out inappropriate content.

One of the most appealing aspects of Webkinz World from a parental point of view is a focus on safety. In addition to the safety considerations, Webkinz World encourages kids to participate in a full-fledged society. They can enroll in classes to earn special badges, but must complete a set number of courses before they “graduate.”

This helps them understand the importance of delayed gratification. Kids can also buy fun clothes, furniture, food, and toys for their pets, but must save up their money to do so. Since real Webkinz cost “real” money, parents can draw parallels between their kids’ online saving and their offline piggy banks.

Ganz have been around for years and years, making gifts and other children’s toys in Canada. I don’t know how it happened or where it came from, but they suddenly released a plush toy which could be made into a virtual pet ONLINE! Ganz’s new Webkinz plush toys are on fire at retail stores all over the country and online. They are the latest must-have toys for boys and girls in the Tween age group.

Webkinz has become such a hit that there are more and more locations to get your newest Webkinz plush. Webkinz have become extremely popular, with over two million units sold to merchants and one million registered users of the Webkinz website. Once online you enter a playful virtual world with a virtual version of the plush pet.

Webkinz is a stuffed animal line of products (and other things like keychains,ect.). They have a code on each stuffed animal (tag) that allows you to get into the “Online World of Webkinz” (it’s a game with your stuffed animal/pet that you have to have the code for).

Yes these pets are hot items Online right now and kids everywhere want 1 or 2 of them, the more the better. Webkinz World is an online gaming center where children must take care of their online pet, on a daily basis. They children have to feed, water, exercise, and play with their pet once you sign up for the service.

Is Webkinz The Right Toy For Kids?

The Webkinz pets are lovable plush pets that each come with a unique Secret Code that lets you enter Webkinz World and play with a webkinz virtual version of your pet on the internet. First you adopt your Webkinz pet and name it. Ganz also recently released Webkinz trading cards as well. Ganz has officially announced the launch of the Pet of the Month campaign. Each month, the company will designate a certain Webkinz pet as the Pet of the Month.

It is not hard to start up for this game. Kids as young as 5 can easily play with a little bit of help. My 7 year old can navigate pretty well on his own, and he’s pretty good on a computer. Kids like it because it is fun!

Children are the future of any society. They need to be given proper education if a society have to progress. Children are highly motivated to take care of their pet, so they don’t even know that they are “learning” because they are having fun as well as making their own choices at the same time.
